I currently serve as the Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police for the Silverthorne Police Department in Silverthorne, Colorado. I previously served as the Executive Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police for the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and as Chief of Police for the University of Maryland, Baltimore. In my career, I have served as Acting Chief of Police, Operations Captain, Patrol Operations Lieutenant, and Patrol Sergeant for the University of Oregon. I also served as a Wyoming State Trooper, deputy sheriff, drug task force officer, and municipal police officer in Michigan and Wyoming. I also have experience as a District Attorney Investigator, assigned explicitly to Domestic Violence cases in Eugene, Oregon, and working with the Child Advocacy Center there.

My husband and I moved to Colorado in September 2023. Family is important, and the opportunity in Silverthorne allowed me to be close to my son, daughter-in-law, and one-year-old granddaughter. In my spare time, I love exploring the area on foot, in four-wheelers, motorcycles, and snowmobiles. You can say I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. Additionally, I am pursuing my doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
