Flor Cruz is Bilingual Community Outreach and Engagement Laison for the Town of Breckenridge. Flor holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Project Management from Colorado State University. Flor has held diverse roles and gained experience in fields such as banking, higher education, and construction management.
Throughout her work, she has always returned to her biggest passion, ensuring that everyone has the right resources to grow and become the best version of themselves. While working in higher education, she dedicated significant time to advocating for minority students, gaining deep insight into systemic barriers and the importance of equity work.
In her current role with the Town of Breckenridge, she manages equity initiatives and implements more inclusive communication pathways. Additionally, Flor Cruz serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Colorado Mountain College, teaching English as a Second Language, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Education Foundation of the Summit.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending quality time with her family.
