Hi, I'm Aubrey! I grew up in New England and spent 15 years in Boston before heading west to Colorado in 2022. I love being outside and can often be found snowboarding when the slopes are calling or camping during the summer months. I am incredibly close with my mom and dad and try to bring that same sense of care and connection into everything I do.
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my partner, Reese, and our two beloved four-legged sidekicks: Gracie Lou Freebush (the dog) and Idgie Threadgood (the cat). Those names probably indicate that I love movies, especially Miss Congeniality and Fried Green Tomatoes!
I am deeply passionate about TreeTop’s work, shaped by my own firsthand experience with childhood trauma, and am driven by a desire to ensure families have access to the compassionate support and resources my parents and I didn’t have while I was growing up.

What I love most about working at TreeTop is knowing that the work truly matters. I get to be part of a team that shows up for kids and families during some of their hardest moments and help make an overwhelming system feel a little less intimidating. The work feels deeply personal to me, not just professional, because it’s grounded in empathy, trust, and real impact. Being able to help create a safer, more supportive experience for families, especially one my parents and I didn’t have access to growing up, is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

A statistic that really stands out to me is that nearly 90% of caregivers served by a Child Advocacy Center report that their child experienced little to no additional trauma during the process. That number matters to me because it represents real children being protected from further harm at an already incredibly difficult time. It reinforces that the way we do this work, slowing things down, coordinating across systems, and truly centering the child, can significantly reduce fear and stress. For me, it’s a powerful reminder that how we show up for kids doesn’t just affect case outcomes, it shapes their experience and healing.

My favorite thing about living in a mountain town is how easy it is to get outside and actually use your free time. Nature is right there; the pace feels more reasonable, and it’s simple to do the things I love without having to plan my whole life around it. Coming from a city prior to living in Breckenridge, I really appreciate the smaller, more connected community and the feeling that life here is a little more balanced and intentional.
