Prior to joining the Care Clinic in 2012, she provided full-spectrum family medicine including obstetrics and newborn care at Salud Family Health Centers in Commerce City and Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton. In her free time, she loves doing all things outdoors and spending time with her family and golden retrievers.

I truly believe in the mission of TreeTop. As a family physician I care for patients from cradle to grave and every thing in between. Life can be challenging and when trauma occurs, I believe as a community we have an obligation to support our community in need. I believe TreeTop rises to this call with compassion.

I believe our community could be better served by more extensive services and education to prevent child abuse and neglect.

By serving on the board of directors, I have had the opportunity to better understand the needs of our community. It has also given me the words to discuss issues like child abuse and neglect more openly.

Spreading the word! Talking openly about child abuse and neglect.

550,000 children are victims of abuse and neglect every year in the US. This is 8 children out of every thousand. That’s a lot of kids struggling with some pretty heavy stuff.
