In 2024 alone, TreeTop Advocacy served:

• 53 children through forensic interviews and advocacy

• 87 víctimas secundarias, such as caregivers and family members

• Children from Eagle (5), Lake (18), and Summit (19) counties, as well as others statewide

• Survivors of:

  • 29 cases of sexual assault

  • 16 cases of physical abuse

  • 5 cases of neglect

  • 4 children who witnessed violence

This year, the majority of child survivors were ages 13–18—a critical time in their emotional and psychological development. More than 65% identified as non-white, and nearly half were Hispanic, underscoring the need for culturally competent, bilingual services.

• It costs approximately $5,000 to provide a child and their family with full wraparound services, including a forensic interview, case advocacy, legal guidance, and therapy referrals.
